Virtual serial port gateway

Our SoI devices offer from one to four serial ports or channels. Devices supporting this feature have a single DB9M connector and are priced as single-port products, yet pack several independent serial channels. Turn them into RX and TX lines of an additional serial channel. Splitting wires can be conveniently carried out with the TB adaptor. It is but one of the applications we published with full source codes. Feel free to modify or borrow from the SoI app in any way you please. Anything is possible — from a simple logo replacement to a deeper rework of features.

In-process COM server offers a rich API that allows you to create and manage virtual serial devices from external applications. The configuration utility has a sleek and intuitive graphical interface. Command-line utility is also available to facilitate port creation and management.

Thanks to its operation in user-mode, our product is a free and much more reliable alternative to any kernel-mode virtual COM port driver including null-modem emulator by com0com.
