I do have the yellow exclamation mark next to the Lucent Win Modem however. Is the Lucent Modem the only modem on your system and are you using the same computer to access the internet? In the Device Manager, there is a hidden Network adapter RAS Async Adapter, for which when I try to update driver I get the following error message: Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it The system cannot find the file specified.
If you know the manufacturer of your device etc But the General tab for the adapter shows the manufacturer to be Microsoft. Can anybody help with this please?
